I've been building green since I started building. That's primarily because I've always tried to build good quality homes for my clients.
There is plenty of information available to consumers interested in green building. This list includes a few of those with a national scope. These organizations provide homeowners with excellent knowldege. You can find things like tips on water conservation, as well as more sophisticated approaches to green building, including building a zero-energy house that generates its own energy needs.
